Lemmy and Wúrzel relax in ‘Orgasmatron’ mode in the Union Tavern, Maida Vale, London. Wúrzel was part of Motorhead’s four piece phase. He made his debut performing the ‘Ace of Spades’ on hit UK TV show ‘The Young Ones’ and went on to record 10 albums with the band before leaving in 1995. Despite Lemmy’s insistence they were just a rock and roll band, Motorhead were the kings of metal and their influence spread far beyond the simple genre of rock. Although Lemmy also acknowledged they had more in common with punk bands than most rock bands.
