Together with his brothers Malcolm and Stevie, Angus is the beating heart of AC/DC.  He was born in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1963, when the snow in Scotland was eight feet deep, the Young family saw a television advert offering assisted travel to families wanting a new life in Australia.  The whole family played musical instruments and Angus first started playing the banjo, then a cheap acoustic guitar, before his mum bought him a cheap second hand Gibson SG.  The same guitar as seen in this image.  Before settling on his unique ‘schoolboy’ look, Angus had dabbled with dressing up as Spiderman, a Gorilla, and Zorro. AC/DC started out as a glam rock band.  His favourite musician is Louis Armstrong.
