He teamed up with John McEnroe, Roger Daltrey, and Iron Maiden, to record a release a cover of Led Zeppelin’s Rock n Roll for charity. He was an internationl sporting hero but could still not get over his fear of losing. ‘When I played my first time at Wimbledon, I’d keep a joint under my pillow and have a smoke every night. It calmed me down.’
