Birmingham and the West Midlands has a long and noble history as the birthplace of great rock bands and Magnum are no different. Formed to be the house band at the infamous Rumrunner nightclub in 1972. Magnum paid their dues around the pubs and clubs of the Midlands until they released their 1982 album ‘Chase the Dragon’ which elevated them as serious artists. They left the pubs and clubs behind and started playing arenas both in the UK, Europe, and the United States.
