Ozzy has recorded 10 albums with Black Sabbath but after being sacked by them in 1978 for epic drug abuse he went on to record 12 as a solo artist. On 18 February 1982, while wearing his future wife Sharon’s dress for a photoshoot near the Alamo, Osbourne drunkenly urinated on a cenotaph erected in honour of those who died at the famous battle.  He was arrested and banned from the town for 10 years.  “When I retire,” Osbourne says, “you’ll know it by hearing the sound of soil being dropped on a box.” There’s a 43 year old gap between Black Sabbath’s two appearances at the top of the UK chart. The first with the hit ” Paranoid ” from 1970 and the second from their Ozzy reunion album in 2013 “13”. This broke Bob Dylan’s record of 39 years.
