Iconic British rockers who enjoyed the longest career of any band in rock history, selling over 118 million records since their original formation in 1962 as The Skorpions, and then The Spectres, and then Traffic Jam. They became The Status Quo, then finally became Status Quo in 1967 when Rick Parfitt joined Rossi. They have had over 60 chart hits in the UK, more than any other rock band with 43 hit albums. In 1985 the band opened the legendary ‘Live Aid’. They have played Wembley Arena and appeared on ‘Top of the Pops’ more than any other band ever. They wrote most of their own material but not many people know that their signature hit ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’ was actually a cover of a John Fogarty tune.
